The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association is taking a road trip to the Valley of the Sun for its 2025 convention. Whether distributors, manufacturers, reps, newcomers or well-established leaders,attendees of the 49th annual STAFDA Convention and Trade Show at the Phoenix Convention Center will be able to set their own agenda to meet their individual goals by participating in the various programs being offered November 9-11.

It promises to be one for the record books and will set the stage for 2026. Below, is the schedule at a glance.

AGENDA

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8

7 a.m. – 5 p.m. STAFDA registration

7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Exhibitor move-in

1 – 5 p.m. STAFDA Power Aisle is Open for Distributor Viewing and Voting Only

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9

7 a.m. – 6 p.m. STAFDA registration

7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Exhibitor move-in

7 a.m. – 5 p.m. STAFDA Power Aisle is Open For Distributor Viewing and Voting Only

8:30 a.m. – Noon Four Concurrent Workshops

Programs run 8:30-10 a.m., morning break 10-10:30 a.m., then programs repeat 10:30 a.m.-Noon.

  • The Self-Empowerment Cycle — Dirk Beveridge
  • Value-Added Selling with CoachVA.ai — Paul Reilly
  • How To Be An Influencer in Any Market — Mike Staver
  • Find Your Why: Creating a Compelling Brand Story — Steve Zastrow

Noon – 1:30 p.m. NextGen Luncheon and Panel — Attendees under 35 will gain knowledge on how multiple generations can work together in a discussion between experienced panelists and audience members.

Noon – 1:30 p.m. Women in Distribution Luncheon, held at Greenwood Brewery — Megan Greenwood, owner Greenwood Brewery

1:30 – 3:30 p.m. Emerging Leaders Forum: The Art of Storytelling — Don Yaeger

6 – 8 p.m. STAFDA Route 66 Opening Party at the The Square PHX (Heritage Square), which is in walking distance of the Phoenix Convention Center and host hotels.

SB Band will play a mix of current and country favorites, along with Southern and classic rock. In addition, a variety of food trucks will be dishing up everything from tacos and quesadillas to BBQ to fry bread and Navajo burritos.

9 – 11:00 a.m. General Session

  • Distributor State-of-the-Industry Address — Dale Hahs II, STAFDA president
