Malco Tools introduces new tools for metal roofing pros
Malco Tools, a manufacturer of high-quality tools for the HVACR and building construction trades, is providing an exclusive first look at new metal construction tools to support various applications, including panel cutting and fabrication, seaming, finishing and curated professional tool kits, at METALCON 2026 in Orlando.
As standing seam metal roofing for residential and commercial construction grows, contractors rely on high-quality, specialized tools to improve productivity, maximize usable material and deliver cleaner finished results. Malco's expanded metal roofing, siding and gutter lineup gives pros purpose-built solutions for throughout the workflow, from panel fabrication and cutting, to seaming and finishing.

What’s New:
The new Premium Panel Cutter, part of Malco’s Metal Benders line, offers fast and accurate precision rip cutting for standing seam roofing panels. Cutting up to 75 feet per minute with a clean edge on both sides, it cuts on either side of the panel by attaching to any lithium-ion cordless drill.
Its adjustable fence is available with 8-in. and 16-in. rails to index off the panel rib without a chalk line. Rated for 24-gauge painted steel, 16-gauge stainless and .032 copper/zinc/aluminum, and comes packaged in an IP67 hard case.
Joining Malco’s TurboShear lineup is the fast, versatile and drill-powered Rotary Panel Cutter Kit. The Malco TurboShear® Straight Cut Rotary Panel Cutter Kit builds on the TSPC1 with an integrated, removable fence for precision rip cutting of straight standing seam panels that can then be bent to 90° or 180° hem for trim coverage and water protection at the rake edge of the roof.
Rated for up to 22-gauge painted steel, including corrugated panels and vinyl siding with the fence removed. This highly portable and quiet cutter kit works with any cordless drill.
Two new professional tool kits have been specifically curated as ready-to-work solutions for metal roofing and siding contractors and packed in an exclusive Malco-branded Veto TECH PAC backpack.
Roofing Kit (RSGPRO2): Includes 16 carefully selected tools built for standing seam roofing, trim, flashing and panel fabrication, such as the 2-Station Metal Bender, 1-Station Metal Disc Bender, TSPC1 Rotary Panel Cutter, Andy Snips®, Building Construction C-RHEX® and more.
Siding Kit (RSGPRO1): Includes 19 of Malco’s pro-favorite tools for vinyl, metal and plank siding, such as Max2000 Snips, Adjustable Siding Gauge, Hand Seamers, Siding Removal Tool, Building Construction C-RHEX and more.
Seaming Pliers Family
Nine new seaming pliers will join Malco’s sheet metal roofing tools portfolio this November, providing better forming accuracy, cleaner bends, less rework and pro-grade durability in a variety of jaw widths, depths, offsets and protection options. Rated for up to 22-gauge painted steel with overmolded grips for comfort and control, the seaming pliers feature heavy-duty cast steel or forged steel construction and a corrosion-resistant finish.
New models include:
- Straight (S3) – best for general fabrication, metal roofing/siding
- 45° Offset (S4) – offers more leverage/orientation flexibility
- 90° Offset (S5) – great for hard-to-reach spots
- Deep Reach Straight (S3DR) – for larger flashing/trim pieces
- Mini 45° Offset (S4M) – ideal for intricate detail work
- Heavy-Duty Straight (S1HD) – use for heavier gauge material
- Heavy-Duty 45° Offset (S2HD) – heavier gauge and leverage
- Heavy-Duty Straight + jaw grips (S1HDG) - heavy-duty and painted finish protection
- Heavy-Duty 45° Offset + jaw grips (S2HDG) - heavy-duty, leverage and finish protection
The S9RHD hand seamer provides heavy-duty forming power for demanding metal bending applications.
Featuring forged steel construction and a compound leverage Redline handle, the Heavy-Duty Hand Seamer is the only 9” forged-steel jaw hand seamer on the market, creating cleaner and more consistent bends with less user fatigue.
Its outer jaw includes ¼-in. graduation quick reference marks on the outer jaw for consistent bend depth, and its width jaw means fewer bends per edge and less rippling in up to 24-gauge painted steel.
Malco’s FSEC Eave Closer, available this November, creates a clean, professional finish at the eave an essential finishing step of the standing seam workflow. The Eave Closer locks hemmed panels onto the drip edge at eaves while protecting painted finishes with an anti-scratch molded grip.
Its nonmarring, replaceable jaws are 9” wide, handling up to 22-gauge painted steel for more confidence and control during finishing for professional-looking eave details. Pairs perfectly with Malco’s Drip Edge Folding Tools (DEFT).
