New Bosch pocket reciprocating saw blades meet the need for access in restricted spaces by offering maximum performance in shorter blades.
With a smaller size than conventional blades (four inches) these blades can fit almost anywhere when combined with a compact, hand-held reciprocating saw. Standard reciprocating blades measure six to 12 inches.
Although Bosch pocket reciprocating saw blades come in a smaller size, they offer the same attributes of traditional Bosch reciprocating blades for cutting conventional and specialized materials quickly, smoothly and precisely. And they offer an industry-standard shank that fits virtually all reciprocating saws on the market.
"Our pocket recip blades carry all of the quality, speed and long-life attributes Bosch blades have always stood for," said Brandon Eble, associate product manager, Bosch Accessories, North America. "We're using a knowledge base acquired over decades to meet the demands of the contractor."
Blade categories include metal, all purpose for wood with nails and all purpose for wood, plastic, light metal and sandwich materials. The metal blade features Bosch's 2x2 Tooth Geometry, which enhances performance in heavy-use applications; the wood with nails all-purpose blade and the regular all-purpose blade have a thinner kerf for faster cutting. The blades also follow the Bosch color-coding system, which is blue for metal and white for wood.
Bosch reciprocating blades are available now at distributors and home centers. To learn more or to find a local dealer, call 877-BOSCH-99.
