Craftsman NEXTEC G2 Drill/Driver
The Craftsman Brand expands upon the NEXTEC 12-volt lithium-ion battery product line with the introduction of second generation designs for three of the line's most popular innovations, including the NEXTEC Hammerhead Auto Hammer, NEXTEC Multi-Tool and NEXTEC Drill/Driver. Each tool is great for the at-home DIYer, allowing users to tackle projects around the home and in tight places with ease.
The Craftsman NEXTEC G2 Hammerhead Auto Hammer, Craftsman NEXTEC G2 Drill/Driver and Craftsman NEXTEC G2 Multi-Tool all boast the new G2 compact body for use in tight places, venting system and over mold grip for added comfort over an extended period of time. Each tool also features a new LED light that directly illuminates the work area and an LED power gauge that utilizes yellow, green or red lights to indicate the amount of charge remaining in the tool.
The second generation NEXTEC Drill/Driver boasts an all new two-speed gear box allowing the user to conveniently switch from hi-speed/hi-torque for proper applications. An 18-position clutch offers various settings to properly match the desired torque to the task, including positions one through seven for light duty work (drywall), eight through14 for medium duty (soft woods) and 15 through18 for driving the fastener flush to the surface.
