The United States power and hand tool market is valued at over $9 billion, with screwdrivers being one of its strongest and most stable categories. IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC., one of the world's largest manufacturers of screwdrivers, announce a major expansion of its line with the introduction of more than 60 new SKU's of industrial-grade screwdriver bits, all made in the United States.
The bits are engineered to meet the requirements of the MRO market, and only S2M tool steel - custom heat treated for strength and durability - is used in their manufacturing. The bits are manufactured to tight tolerances to ensure the most accurate fit and full fastener engagement.
Both insert and power type bits are available in standard size -- Phillips, Slotted and Square designs -- along with the company's patented Combo Head™ bit for Combination Fasteners. An array of Torx®, Double-Ended, and Tamper-Proof bits are also available. Their 1/4-inch hex bodies fit most multi-bit screwdrivers; insert bits feature a retaining ring notch, while the power bits have a power locking grove.
As part of the introduction, IDEAL is also offering accessories such as the patented Quick Change Chuck, socket adapters, magnetic bit holders and magnetic nut setters.
Bits are sold in bulk and on cards, and there are five different display options to choose from.
