Makinex Forced Action Mixer (FAM-120)

Makinex’s Forced Action Mixer (FAM-120) uses a controlled, “forced mixing” process rather than a traditional paddle action, delivering more uniform results with high-viscosity materials while reducing dust and cleanup time. A sealed, AC-geared motor provides efficient, consistent torque with 1,100 W output, supporting the 37.1 gallon (140 L) mixing capacity. The 265-pound (120 kg) FAM-120 is 29.9 inches wide, 38.6 inches in depth and 47.6 to 54.1 inches in height.

The unit has a unique concave, inverted, anti-spill lid and replaceable liner designed for less mess, less downtime, and extended service life. The removable liner allows fast changeovers between screeds, mortars, epoxy-bound aggregates, and cementitious materials, eliminating cross-contamination and reducing cleaning time between batches.

Additional features include adjustable legs to stabilize the mixer at uneven jobsites, rear transport wheels to support loading and unloading, a built-in vacuum port suppression and removable mixing handles for easier cleaning and maintenance.
