The Makita 40V max XGT 3 by 21-inch Belt Sander provides users a wood surfacing and sanding tool that delivers up to 20% faster sanding speeds than a corded tool. It features an adjustable front grip for sanding flush to walls as well as using the nose and the side of the sander. The sander features a variable speed dial that allows adjustments from 390-1,540 ft/min to match the speed to the application. An auto belt tracking system keeps the belt in proper alignment without adjustment. With a separately sold clamper set, the sander can be used in a stationary position.
