Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has introduced the Perfect Dado Jig, a router guide that helps create dadoes from 1/2" to 1" wide.
Combined with the All-in- One Clamp Guide, the jig forms a smooth sliding guide that allows the creation of precise dadoes.
Once the jig is set at the desired dado width, reapeatability is as simple as moving the clamp guide and running the router and jig down and back again.
Tight-fitting dadoes are instrumental in the construction of cabinets, permanent shelving, and other common do-it-yourself projects, and the Perfect Fit Dado Jig greatly simplifies and expedites the process of achieving a perfect fit.
"The Perfect Fit Dado Jig performs as its name suggests," says Steve Krohmer, Rockler's Vice President of Product Marketing. "This jig is easy to set up and makes routing perfect dadoes fast, simple, and repeatable. It can't get much easier to create perfect joints."
The Perfect Fit Dado Jig is pre-drilled for standard 3-hole pattern routers, or can be custom drilled to fit other routers. The jig is infinitely adjustable between 1/2" and 1" dado widths and features a measuring gradient for reference, which allows the creation of dadoes to match the thickness of any plywood. While the Perfect Fit Dado Jig is designed for use any 1/2" router bit, smaller straight bits can be used to create dadoes less than 1/2" wide.
The Perfect Fit Dado Jig is made in the USA and retails for $44.99. All-in-One Clamp Guides are available in 24" to 99" lengths and retail from $41.99 to $113.99 each.
