Channellock Inc., known worldwide for its catalog of quality pliers and hand tools, introduces three new professional levels – the 8.25-inch model 620L Professional Laser Level, the 8.25-inch model 620 Professional Level, and the 8.5-inch model 615 Professional Torpedo Level.

All three Channellock levels are designed to meet the demands of professionals while delivering performance that DIYers will especially appreciate. Each level features:

Four rare-earth magnets that keep the level in place during installations;Full-view, 0 degree oversized vials; Waterproof- and shock-resistant casing for greater durability; And, a V-Groove design for easy pipe and conduit mounting.

"These three new levels are a natural extension of our line of quality pliers and hand tools," said Ryan DeArment, Channellock, Inc.'s vice president of sales and marketing. "Like all Channellock tools, we believe that professionals and DIYers alike will find the levels to be indispensible additions to their tool boxes."

A pre-release survey of professional contractors conducted by Channellock found that 83 percent would switch to a Channellock level from their current brand, thanks to included features, like the 8.25" 620L's leveling laser that lasts up to 10,000 hours and is accurate up to ¼ of an inch at 100 feet.

"I used the 8.25" 620L Professional Laser Level to level the tops of a fence," said Joe Prin, owner of Joe Prin Remodeling LLC and host of The HomeFix Radio Show. "This was done in daylight, and the laser was still quite bright and visible at 20' without a problem."

The 8.25" Professional Level 620 includes three 45-minute arc vials at 0, 45, and 90 degrees, and an ergonomically designed handle for ease of use. At 8.5", the slightly larger Professional Torpedo Level offers a compact and durable form calculated to deliver better accuracy and proficiency than competing brands.

"I found the levels to be most useful when used to align or level steel materials and surfaces," said Stuart from ToolGuyd.com. "I found that they perform far better than my other magnetic levels."
