DEWALT launches its first cordless full-size band saw, the 20V MAX* XR Brushless Deep Cut Band Saw, the model DCS374. For mechanical, electrical, HVAC, sprinkler, and general contractor applications, the new Band Saw features premium ergonomics, an efficient brushless motor, and the versatility to cut a wide variety of materials.
The 20V MAX* XR Brushless Deep Cut Band Saw features a 5” by 4-3/4” capacity to cut strut, pipe, angle iron, pipe and various other materials. At only 13.8 pounds (with a 5.0Ah battery), the cordless Band Saw is 1.2 pounds lighter than DEWALT’s corded Band Saw (DWM120).
With its magnesium housing and adjustable bail handle and hook, the 20V MAX* XR Brushless Deep Cut Band Saw is a lightweight and well-balanced tool that provides the user with their choice of orientation for comfortable use.
The Band Saw’s DEWALT-built brushless motor provides extreme runtime, the cutting speed performance of DEWALT’s corded version but with the convenience of cordless**. The 20V MAX* XR Brushless Deep Cut Band Saw achieves up to 149 cuts of 1-5/8” Strut with 14 TPI blade.
With a variable speed trigger and dial and the Band Saw’s powerful transmission provides the versatility and capability to cut a wide variety of materials. The Band Saw also includes a 20 second delay LED light and uses a standard 44-7/8” size blade.
