DEWALT expands Precision saw blade line with new Precision Framing Blades. These revolutionary blades, which offer breakthrough performance, outstanding blade control, longer life* and durability, are ideal for professionals tasked with applications involving framing, roofing and siding installation and concrete forms.
"We spent countless hours speaking with contractors and realized the need for a framing blade offering that delivers great control, longer life and durability," said Simon Barrett, product manager, DEWALT. "The new Precision Framing Blades offer improvements in tooth geometry and blade design to meet and exceed these demands."
DEWALT is dedicated to providing products that allow professionals to be productive and efficient on the jobsite. As part of this commitment, DEWALT revolutionized their existing framing blades by changing the tooth geometry to feature a front face grind. This new geometry creates a sharper tip that helps to reduce the blade's cutting force.
In addition to cutting force, DEWALT knows that professionals need a product that offers an enhanced feel of cut and greater durability than they may experience with other blades on the market. To address these needs, the company made a number of changes to its existing framing blades. For instance, DEWALT's new Precision Framing Blades feature exclusive plate technology) with resin filled expansion slots to dampen vibration and improve cutting feel and performance.
To address durability, DEWALT incorporated a new anti kickback shoulder into these Precision Framing Blades. This anti kickback shoulder reinforces the carbide tip for impact resistance, and it also helps to reduce the risk of saw kickback.
The Precision Framing Blades are compatible with both DEWALT saws and competitive units, and they will be available anywhere DEWALT products are sold in August 2011.
The new blades are offered in a variety of diameters and tooth counts, including
