Ericson e-Cart
Ericson is now authorized to mark e-Carts and e-Cart Jrs with the UL Listing.
The units are listed to the very stringent UL 1640C Standard for Design, Construction, Quality and Testing.
The superior enclosure design of Ericson’s entire e-Cart line, (e-Cart 2’s, e-Cart Jrs and many custom units), impressed the UL engineers and aided in earning Ericson’s e-Cart family the UL mark.
Introduced to Ericson’s temporary power product offering in 2007, the e-Cart family has become one of the most popular product lines for Ericson Manufacturing. The e-Cart family of Power Distribution Units (PDUs) earned 3 prestigious Product Design awards by major industrial publications that same year.
The e-Cart family of PDUs are used to transform construction site and plant power (normally 480 or 600 volt) down to “tool” power of 120 volts and add GFCI protection while being OSHA and code compliant. E-Carts eliminate the older style “home-built” PDUs with standardized, easy-to-connect, UL Listed temporary power distribution centers saving time and money. Jobsite power and in-plant maintenance activities are now plug and play easy with compliant and listed power distribution equipment.
The e-Cart Jrs' light-weight, aluminum frame and 480V, single or three phase 60Hz power input and it’s fully encapsulated 15kVA transformer makes it a crowd pleaser. The e-Cart2 features a powder coated steel frame, three or single phase NEMA 3R 480V or 600V 60Hz ventilated transformer, this larger mobile power distribution unit has been designed to fit through a standard door frame. Available in 15kVA to 225kVA sized transformers, the e-Cart family positioned to meet many applications. Ericson offers many custom e-Cart2™ & e-Cart Jr. also allowing the customer to have a unit designed to suit their specific needs. All e-Carts feature the NEMA 3R rain rating, are made in the USA and custom options are available.
