Safety: Gemtor Horizontal Lifeline System
Gemtor HL3 is now usable at greater lengths.
Gemtor, Incorporated announced today that it has improved the versatility of its HL3 Horizontal Lifeline System. Designed as an integral part of a Fall Prevention System, the HL3 is now usable at greater lengths for a more economical installation.
Targeted for use during the construction or renovation of bridges and tall structures,
the HL3 is a durable system that is easy to install, and allows for ease of maneuverability by workers. Installed at perimeters or exterior edges, the system is capable of spanning distances of up to 180 feet. The HL3 allows workers to traverse the entire length without ever disconnecting their lanyard.
Installation safety has been considered in the design through the use of top mounted attachment bolts and the use of an integral clamping system that secures the device to the opposite side of the beam flange. The device can be configured to specific situations through adjustments in cable length.
