National Equipment Wholesale announces the release of the new SIMA battery powered rebar cutters.  

Two options will accommodate most rebar cutting jobs:  

• The CX-16B has a cutting capacity of #5 (5/8”) and
• The CX-20B has a cutting capacity of #6 (3/4”).

And with the added convenience of cordless power these new rebar cutters are perfect for remote locations where power is not available.

The new CX-16B and the new CX-20B are powered by an 18 Volt Lithium-ion battery. Both cutters come with two batteries, a battery charger and its own plastic carrying case to protect it from the elements. Each battery is capable of 50 to 60 cuts per charge, with an average recharge time of one hour.

For added versatility the cutter head rotates 360° for getting into those tight spots. SIMA cutter blocks are made of harden steel named “Tenasteel” and are manufactured especially for this application. The cutter blocks can be easily rotated for extra life. Each cutter block comes with four cutting sides so you can always have a new cutting surface.
