Drillco introduces Step Reamers
Drillco Cutting Tools, Inc. (Baton Rouge, LA) is excited to announce the newest product that extends our already comprehensive reamer product offering: Step Reamers.
Made from premium quality high speed steel, these reamers are designed to enlarge existing holes in steel to a new diameter. They can be used to ream up to 1/2” thick steel plate. Drillco’s new step reamers can also be used to realign badly misaligned holes to allow a fastener to enter through.
Primary uses and industries for this product include structural steel erection, structural bolt placement, bridge construction and repair, the automotive industry, and more!
Drillco’s multi-step reamers feature 3-flat shanks to reduce slippage in the chuck. Shanks are 3/8” to fit in most drill chucks. Black oxide surface treatment increases wear resistance.
As an added feature, Drillco’s step reamers are designed with a special geometry split point that reduces “walking” when beginning the reaming process.
The product range consists of 3 tools, each with 5 steps in 1/2” increments, for a total of 15 different diameters with just 3 tools, saving the user money as fewer tools are required.

- 470SE003: 13/16”, 7/8”, 15/16”, 1”, 1.1/16”
