Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has added the Clamp-It Corner Clamping Jig to its selection of clamping solutions.
Used in conjunction with the Clamp-It Assembly Square (29190, sold separately,) the Corner Clamping Jig holds two panels together at a precise 90 degree angle, allowing one person to easily fasten them together.
When assembling cabinets and joining panels to build cabinet carcasses, DIYers and pros alike will find that this new clamping solution is invaluable.
The Corner Clamping Jig and Assembly Square combination will hold two panels together at a right angle, allowing the builder to use both hands to fasten the joint.
"The Corner Clamping Jig and Assembly Square do the work of two hands holding the joint in place," says Steve Krohmer, Rockler's vice president of merchandising and product development.
"Having panels held in place at right angles allows the builder to use both hands to fasten the joint, which will produce the best results possible."
The Corner Clamping Jig features an extra-wide base, high side walls and strong Acme threaded clamp screws to hold panels securely. Thick cushioned pads prevent marring of the cabinet stock.
Mounting holes in the body allow the jig to be anchored in place if desired.
The Clamp-It Corner Clamping Jigs (58918) are priced at $27.99 each and the Clamp-It Assembly Squares (29190) at $12.99 each.
