The evolution of drywall finishing tools has reached a new level with the introduction of the MudRunner, exclusively from TapeTech. For contractors who already use automatic taping and finishing tools, the MudRunner replaces the standard corner applicator and the work that goes along with operating one. For contractors still finishing drywall by hand, the MudRunner makes converting to tools easier than ever. A simple twist of the wrist activates the gas-charged piston and releases a steady flow of joint compound without additional effort. Twisting the handle back stops the flow immediately.
The MudRunner attaches to TapeTech corner finishers for fast, efficient and effortless finishing of both sides of internal drywall corners simultaneously. When attached to TapeTech mud heads, the tool is also ideal for applying an even, consistent amount of joint compound to properly install paper-faced corner bead. The MudRunner holds 50% more joint compound than a standard 8" corner applicator and 70% more than the 7" corner applicator. With a length of 63" (without attachments), it provides 15% more reach for easier finishing of corners in rooms with higher ceilings.
