STAFDA Webinar series
STAFDA, The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors
Association, has scheduled a series of free educational Webinars for its members. The programs offer top-notch speakers presenting timely business topics via telephone and computer.
The series includes:
- Feb. 15: Dr. Barry Brandman, “The Executive’s Guide to Business Security”
- March: 22: Bob DeStefano, “Build an Online Marketing Machine”
- April 19: Dr. Bill McCleave, “Differentiating Your Distribution Company”
- May 17: The Distributor Board, “Employee Compensation Plans”
- June 14: Alan Beaulieu, "Economic Update"
Barry Brandman, president of Danbee Investigations, kicked off the series on February 15. His program, “The Executive’s Guide to Business Security,” looked at business crime and how to protect your company from internal and external theft. Brandman is the author of STAFDA’s soon-to-be-released manual, The Executive’s Handbook for Business Security.
Bob DeStefano, president of SVM E-Business Solutions, will discuss how to “Build an Online Marketing Machine” on March 22. DeStefano will teach attendees how to attract targeted prospects, convert anonymous visitors into named leads, and measure results to
enhance future campaigns. He presented this program during STAFDA’s Phoenix
Convention and it’s offered now for those who were unable to attend or who want additional information.
Dr. Bill McCleave presented “Differentiating Your Distribution Company” to a full audience during STAFDA’s Phoenix Convention and he’ll offer members a chance to hear his program again on April 19. During the Webinar, he’ll explain how to define your company’s unique value in the marketplace by offering more sourcing alternatives, products and delivery options than ever before.
You’ll also want to mark your calendars for The Distributor Board, which will take a look at “Employee Compensation Plans” on May 17, while noted economist, Alan Beaulieu
of the Institute for Trend Research, will offer his “Economic Update” on June 14.
The Webinars are fast-paced, content-rich programs that offer a question and answer period at the conclusion. Members can find additional details and registration links for the Webinars by logging in to the members-only section of www.stafda.org and clicking on the Education tab. More Webinars will be added throughout the year.
