International Hardware Fair moves to 2022

Tool show, set for February, 2021 in Cologne, Germany, moves to March 6-9, 2022.

Koelnmesse regrets to inform you that it has cancelled the EISENWARENMESSE - INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR planned from February 21 to 24, 2021, due to the pandemic.

This cancellation was very difficult for us because we were well-positioned to hold the fair with our hybrid trade fair format and the planned contents for the EISENWARENMESSE - INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR 2021. The industry's feedback was also very positive until the European press conference at the end of October.

However, the current dynamic infection rate and travel restrictions in the international environment led to further uncertainties regarding participation in the trade fair in February.

Even the comprehensive hygiene and safety concept #B-SAFE4business for the Corona-compliant realization of trade fairs was not sufficient in the end to give you more security in your planning.

Ultimately, even a purely digital format would not have been a substitute for the new, hybrid approach, since the focus at the EISENWARENMESSE - INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR is still based on physical presence, which is supplemented accordingly with the offers and possibilities of the digital platform EISENWARENMESSE@home.

We are now looking forward with renewed energy to the next EISENWARENMESSE - INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR, which will take place in Cologne from March 6 to 9, 2022.

Due to the fair trade cancellation for 2021, we will refund in full any payments already made to Koelnmesse. Koelnmesse will arrange this centrally in the coming weeks; you do not need to do anything else.

Due to the trade fair cancellation for 2021, we will refund in full any payments already made to Koelnmesse. Koelnmesse will arrange this centrally in the coming weeks; you do not need to do anything else. If this has already been done at an earlier point in time, such as directly after the postponement of the event in March of this year, this information is not relevant for you.

If you have already independently cancelled your participation in the trade fair in the last few days or weeks, the necessary steps for billing and reimbursement have also already been initiated.

As we all look forward to the future and the return to travel and business events, we would like to ask you to look ahead to our spring and fall trade shows:
