PRAMAC Donates Generators to Haiti

PRAMAC will be donating 30 generators to assist with the Haiti relief effort.

Haiti was hit by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake on January 12, 2010. It was the most powerful earthquake in over 200 years. The epicenter was only 10 miles from the capital city of Port-au-Prince, which has an estimated population of 1 million. Located in the Western hemisphere, Haiti has no current infrastructure to deal with a disaster of this magnitude. The earthquake caused large-scale damage to homes, hospitals, schools and office buildings.

The capital city of Port-au-Prince is without electricity and will most likely be for the very near future. PRAMAC, a worldwide global manufacturer of generators, will be donating 30 generators to assist with the Haiti relief effort. PRAMAC ‘s generator donation is being coordinated with the help of the Haitian Ministry Agency located in Atlanta.
