International Hardware Fair Launches Online "Matchmaking" Service

Internet tool allows attendees to make appointments and interact with exhibitors before the show begins.

After a rewarding day at the International Hardware Fair, awe-inspiring Cologne beckons. The countdown is on: from February 28 to March 3, 2010 the world's construction tool and hardware industry will convene at the International Hardware Fair Cologne.

More than 2,700 suppliers are currently signed on to exhibit. To help trade visitors make the most of the show, IHF is offering the opportunity to contact the exhibitors before the start of the fair with our online matchmaking service. From February 15 on, the online matchmaking service will be available at www.hardwarefair.com.

Which exhibitors do I want to see most? Which suppliers offer product groups that are right for me? Who is offering tailored collaboration opportunities? Answer these questions before the fair has even started by using the online matchmaking system.

Attendees can put questions to all of the exhibitors in a given product group anonymously and free of charge. This ability helps you maximize your trade show plan, hit the best exhibtors for you and skip the ones that don't fit. As a show this big, preplanning is essential. This tools allows you to evaluate and set up visits with potential business partners before you leave home.

www.hardwarefair.comHere is how it works:

Automatically reach several exhibitors in a given product group at once with your query (e.g. concerning the type and availability of a certain product). Exhibitors only receive the queries that fit their product group. Exhibitors can reply by e-mail to set up appointments.  Trade visitors can use this service free of charge.
