Mooney joins Utility Composites

Fastening industry veteran named Sr. Vice President of Business Development.

Patrick Mooney has joined Utility Composites, Inc. as Sr. Vice President of Business Development.  Utility Composites Inc manufactures composite staples, nails and specialty products for cabinet manufacturing, logging, timber and sawmill operations, tire retreading, marine and other application specific areas where a non-conductive, rust-proof fastener is required for sawing, sanding and molding in the manufacturing process.

Patrick brings particular expertise in industrial fastening. Most recently, Patrick has led The BeA Group (Germany) in their return to the U.S. market with BeA Fasteners USA, Inc. As President and General Manager, he grew the BeA branded tool and fastener business by selling and marketing to and through industrial distributors, dealers and OEM accounts. BeA is a worldwide leader in wood-to-wood industrial fastening.

Additionally, Patrick spent 17 years with Ingersoll-Rand and The Stanley Works in various capacities that focused on sales and marketing industrial tools and related products.

As V.P. of Business Develop, Patrick will work closely with Tucker to support Utility Composites' existing sales practices and to develop and integrate new strategies that will expand business opportunities.

Patrick and his wife Meg will relocate to Texas and work from Utility's Round Rock, TX facility.
