International Hardware Fair 2012 Ramps Up

World's largest tool show runs March 4-7, 2012 in Cologne, Germany.

The next edition of the International Hardware Fair will run March 4-7, 2012 in Cologne, Germany. With eight months remaining until the start of the INTERNATIONALE EISENWARENMESSE KÖLN (International Hardware Fair Cologne), exhibitor registrations are trending well. Renowned suppliers from Germany and abroad will be in Cologne, Germany from March 4 to 7, 2012 to present new hardware products to the trade and to buyers from industrial companies worldwide.

Particularly in the Tools segment, key exhibit areas in the Koelnmesse halls have already been secured by leading manufacturers including hand tool manufacturers Apex, Gedore, Hazet, Ega Master, Knipex, Rothenberger, Tyrolit and Unior. Companies exhibiting power tools and accessories will include Einhell, Pferd Rüggeberg and Wolfcraft. “

Just across the Rhine from the Cologne Convention Center beckons the old town district of Cologne, anchored by the city's iconic thousand-year-old cathedral. Cologne is one of the top cultural and shopping destinations in Europe. In addition to countless land-based hotels, the ship in the foreground of this photo is a floating hotel, a number of which ply the Rhine serving tourists and trade show attendees. The 2012 International Hardware Fair will again be organized by product category: Tools, Industrial Supply, Fasteners and Fixings, Fittings, and Home Improvement.

In the Industrial Supply category, Hailo, Keter Plastic, Annovi Reverberi and Telwin are among the many suppliers that have already signed on.

Exhibitors in the Fasteners and Fixings, Fittings segment so far include AS Schellenberg, GAH Alberts, Heco, Hettich, HSI Schwerter and Schäfers & Peters.

With its overview of diverse product segments, the INTERNATIONALE EISENWARENMESSE KÖLN will serve the hardware sectors as a “one-stop shopping” platform from March 4 to 7, 2012. The portfolio of products encompasses hand tools, power tools and accessories, machine tools, compressed air tools, high pressure cleaners, welding and soldering equipment,  workshop fittings, shop and storeroom fittings, ladders and scaffolding, industrial safety, fastening technology, fixing technology, building fittings, furniture fittings, small fittings, decorative metal wares, construction chemistry, interiors and furnishings, sanitary ware and fittings, building materials, building elements, building accessories, outdoor facilities, automotive supplies and accessories and two wheeler accessories.
