Buyers Products Acquires Additional Production Facility

Growing sales of SnowDogg and related product lines prompt expansion.

The owners of Buyers Products announce the acquisition of a new manufacturing facility near the corporate headquarters in Mentor, Ohio.

The 500,000-square-foot facility, located at 8200 Tyler Boulevard, will operate in conjunction with the existing 310,000-square-foot fabrication facility also located in Mentor.

Once updates are complete, the new facility will house Buyers Products’ growing snow and ice control product lines in a central location.

The new addition brings the total number of Buyers Products-owned facilities in Mentor to four, covering well over 1.4 million square feet.

“The new production building will allow us to have a dedicated facility to focus on the continued growth of our popular snow and ice control business, which includes our SnowDogg, SaltDogg and ScoopDogg product lines,” said Mark Saltzman, president, Buyers Products.

Including sister companies Viking Forge, Progressive Powder Coating, Boomerang Rubber and Rotational Molding Technologies, the Buyers Group operates more than 1.6 million square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space in the Midwest.
