CSDA Announces Fall 2013-Winter 2014 Training Dates
Season will include seven training classes in three locations across the United States.
The Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association (CSDA) is pleased to announce a range of dates and locations for its fall 2013-winter 2014 program.
Between November 2013 and January 2014, seven training classes will be held in three locations across the United States.
The schedule starts November 4 in Clearwater, Florida, where CSDA is offering a selection of Operator Certification courses for experienced operators who want to gain proficiency in any or all sawing and drilling disciplines.
These classes include Slab Sawing & Drilling 201 on November 4-5, followed by Wall Sawing 201 on November 6-7 and Wire Sawing 201 on November 8-9.
All classes will be held at CSDA’s training facility at the Clearwater campus of St. Petersburg College.
During the same week, on November 7-8, a CSDA Concrete Polishing class will be held in Bakersfield, California. First held at World of Concrete 2013, Concrete Polishing is a two-day classroom and hands-on course that focuses on the fundamentals of this technique, the correct setup, operation and maintenance of equipment and the differences between wet and dry polishing.
The annual World of Concrete trade show and exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada, is the scheduled location for three more CSDA training classes. A two-day CSDA Estimating class will be held January 20-21, followed by a Wall Sawing 101 class and another Concrete Polishing class running concurrently on January 22-23.
All three classes will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center during the show. Venues for the wall sawing and concrete polishing classes will be split between the classroom and the outdoor demo area, where students will perform practical exercises at the exhibit booths of CSDA member companies.
The Estimating class will focus specifically on the practice of estimating sawing and drilling jobs and is taught by industry experts with real-world experience.
All classes have been scheduled to provide cutting and polishing contractors with choice and flexibility, allowing operators and employees to attend when companies can afford to send them. In addition, CSDA has an online training website consisting of 27 courses that are available at www.csdatraining.com.
The association has hands-on, classroom and online courses for every discipline and skill level, allowing contractors to provide operators with superior training. For more information, visit www.csda.org or call 727-577-5004.
