Stringliner Pro and LevelWiz lines join U.S. Tape portfolio.
U.S. Tape announces that on January 15, 2014, it acquired the Stringliner Company. This acquisition adds a very well respected brand of high quality products to the U.S. Tape portfolio and continues the expansion of the breadth and depth of U.S. Tape's product offering.
Stringliner Company is a family owned business started in 1986 by Jim Black and most recently managed by his sons (Wes, Ron, Bob and Chuck). Stringliner Company currently markets their quality Stringliner Pro and LevelWiz reloadable string lines, TapeWiz barricade tape dispensers, and CordWiz extension cord holders to the retail hardware and industrial construction markets.
U.S. Tape Company, founded in 1876, is a leading manufacturer of measuring products including CenterPoint tape measures, DuraWheel measuring wheels, DuraMark chalk products, Rhino fiberglass folding rulers and Spencer logging tapes.
