Weather Shield Names Chris Schield Brand Director
Schield rejoins company to lead branding initiative.
Weather Shield Windows & Doors continues to strengthen its team by welcoming Chris Schield as its new Weather Shield brand director. Schield previously worked with Weather Shield for eight years prior to serving as a channel manager for Kohler Company for two years.
In addition to managing the existing product portfolio, Schield will lead the way in new product development initiatives, new channel opportunities and competitive intelligence.
"We are pleased to have Chris rejoin the team as director of the Weather Shield brand,” said Jeff Kibler, marketing manager for Weather Shield. “His expertise and the experience he gained at Kohler will lend valuable insight and leadership to the future of Weather Shield and our continued innovation in the window and door industry.”
As channel manager at Kohler, Schield doubled the company’s faucet sales at The Home Depot. Schield was instrumental in the product development process for the Retail Faucet Organization at Kohler and helped commercialize new products that enabled Kohler to capture market share in a highly competitive retail space.
He holds bachelor’s degrees in management and finance, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
