Danielle Mohn Joins Build.com as Chief Marketing Officer

 Build.com has named Danielle Porto Mohn as its chief marketing officer. Build.com has named Danielle Porto Mohn as its chief marketing officer. Based in Chico, Calif., Mohn will lead the company’s efforts to further advance brand awareness, develop long-term customer relationships, expand mobile and marketplace offerings, and lead the expansion of Build.com’s marketing channels to grow revenue streams.

With more than 15 years of experience in brand marketing, technology and customer relationship management, Mohn will be responsible for helping to evolve the Build.com brand to a relationship-centered promise and define unique customer experiences for both consumers and trade professionals.

Most recently, Mohn served as vice president of marketing and consumer strategy at Petco where she had a leading role in the development and launch of an award-winning 360° brand transformation, which garnered top-tier media coverage in AdAge and AdWeek. As a result of the campaign, Petco was named 2014 Brand of the Year by Ace Metrix, as well as #1 in Retail and #6 Overall Ad of 2013 by BrainJuicer. While at Petco, Mohn also established a best-in-class customer insights team dedicated to improving marketing strategies and delivering unparalleled return on investment.

Prior to joining Petco, Danielle held senior level marketing positions with a variety of well-known companies, including Guitar Center, Harrah's (Caesars) Entertainment, Albertson’s and Teradata. Mohn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business as well as an A.B.J from the University of Georgia’s Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
