Designs are revealed for Two World Trade Center

Video, renderings and plans show seven building volumes stacked on top of each other.


Plans for the last World Trade Center tower in New York City have been unveiled. The 80-plus-story, 1,340-foot Two World Trade Center was designed by Bjarke Ingels as seven separate building volumes stacked on top of each other.

"On one hand it's about being respectful and about completing the frame around the memorial, and on the other hand it's about revitalizing downtown Manhattan," Ingels said.
