STAFDA announces new officers
Terry Earle is president; Tom Leahy is elected vice president.
Members of the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) elected a new President during its 39th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Phoenix, November 8-10: Terry Earle, Chief Operating Officer and Sales Manager, Fort Worth Bolt & Tool Co., Fort Worth, TX. The company has branch locations in Dallas and Denton, TX, serving the industrial and construction markets and active in STAFDA since 1980.
Tom Leahy, Border Construction Specialties, Phoenix, AZ, was elected STAFDA Vice President. His responsibilities include managing facilities, assets, insurance, supply chain, safety, and sales teams at the company’s 12 locations. Border Construction Specialties has been a member since 2008.
Four new Board members were also elected:
- Steve Bailey, President and owner, Bailey Tools & Safety, Louisville, KY,
- Sean Baird, President and owner, Hampton Roads Fastener & Construction Supply, Inc. (HRFCS), Virginia Beach, VA;
- Dan Esch, President, Esch Construction Supply, Inc., St. Paul, MN; and
- Al Talbot, President of Western States Tool & Supply Corp., Hayward, CA.
They will each serve three-year terms.
Four new members of the Manufacturers Liaison Committee were also named:
- Spencer Loveless, Dustless Technologies, Price, UT;
- Steven Olshever, Seymour of Sycamore, Inc., Sycamore, IL;
- Keith Ripley, Diamond Products, Elyria, OH; and
- Robin Roberts, Protective Industrial Products, Inc., Albany, NY.
Joining the Rep Liaison Committee are:
- Aime Cedrone, AMVAL Associates, Dover, NH, and
- Bob Koenig, Mountain West Sales Co., Littleton, CO.
