PIP realigns outside sales organization

Company refocuses sales in regional offices as each product specialist becomes a Regional Sales Manager.

In an effort to strengthen its best-in-class sales support and training in the Safety industry, Protective Industrial Products, Inc. is pleased to announce the realignment of its outside sales team.

As of February 1, 2016, PIP's sales team has transitioned to smaller, more focused regions throughout the U.S. in order to provide more dedicated attention to its valued customers. Up until now, PIP had employed a strategy that included a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and PPE Product Specialist (PS) within larger territories. Now, all outside sales team members will transition to the role of Regional Sales Manager and will have full product line responsibility in Hand Protection, as well as Personal Protective Equipment.

Along with a full product line portfolio, each RSM will lead a team of dedicated agency representatives to better service their regions. The process for this realignment began in the last quarter of 2015 with intensive cross-training.
