Huttig Building Products expands Florida warehouse
Expansion adds more than 200,000 square feet to existing facility.
As one of America's largest wholesale distributors of specialty building products and millwork for light commercial, residential construction and remodeling, Huttig Building Products makes it easy for its customers to thrive in an ever-changing industry.
Huttig-Florida has expanded its warehouse facility over 200,000 sq ft, doubling its capacity to 448,630 sq feet in order to offer the broadest, deepest product mix in the industry. This expansion, along with doubling the interior and exterior door production capabilities, has allowed Huttig to offer a one-truck solution with reduced lead times.
In addition, Huttig doubled its fastener inventory to over $4 million dollars and now offers next-service-day delivery on all Huttig-Grip fasteners products.
“The Central Florida expansion will allow us to increase the depth and breadth of our current product lines while allowing us to expand our Huttig Grip fastener line to the largest in the state. We are excited about the opportunities this will give us to better serve our customers,” stated Robert Pearce, East Regional Vice President.
Customers now have the opportunity to have all their needs met with Huttig's one truck solution, including offering the complete lines of AZEK, ThermaTru, Masonite, TimberTech and Huttig-Grip fasteners.
Greg Terlep - General Manager of Huttig-Central Florida, goes on to say “this expansion also improves our efficiencies with our core Millwork product lines and production capabilities that we have traditionally been known for. At the end of the day it’s all about adding value and providing exceptional service for our valued customers. This expansion gives us the tools to continue to improve and be the best supply solution in the market, allowing us to meet all of our customer’s needs.”
