PIP acquires Dynamic Safety
Dynamic Safety is a global supplier of personal protective equipment.
PIP Global Holdings Inc. announced the acquisition of DSI Safety Inc. headquartered in Laval, Canada.
Dynamic Safety is a supplier of personal protective equipment in Canada, as well as a globally recognized manufacturer of hard hats, first aid kits, and other safety products. Claude Roberge is the company founder and president.
“We have worked together with Claude and Dynamic for a long time,” said Joe Milot, president and CEO of PIP Global. “We are pleased that we can formally partner with the Dynamic team and build a stronger foundation for our hand protection and safety business in Canada, while at the same time, we gain state-of-the-art manufacturing for hard hats and other safety products right here in North America.”
Roberge added, “Joining with PIP was a perfect choice for us. With gloves representing over 35 percent of the safety market, we have strengthened our ability to provide a complete PPE portfolio to our customers in Canada. While I intend to remain actively involved, this partnership is an excellent opportunity for my executive management team to move into new expanded leadership roles.”
Based near Montreal, Canada, the Dynamic Safety office and manufacturing plant in Laval will become PIP’s Canadian headquarters.
PIP Canada Ltd., PIP’s current Canadian entity, will be rolled up into this acquisition and operate under Dynamic Safety, selling hand and arm protection and other PPE products that meet CSA standards under the G-Tek, Assurance, Ambi-Dex, ATG, Kut-Gard Bouton and Maximum Safety brands.
