Victaulic Acquires Globe Fire Sprinkler
Two leading, century-old companies bring added support to fire protection customers, industry.
Effective July 8, 2019, Victaulic has purchased Globe Fire Sprinkler. Combined, these two respected companies will have the resources and capabilities to bring exciting new solutions to the fire protection industry around the world.
Steven Worthington, who will continue to serve the combined organization as President, Globe Fire Protection commented, "Victaulic brings additional financial resources to Globe, enabling added focus on innovation to support our customers and the industry."

Globe Fire Sprinkler has been a family owned fire sprinkler manufacturer with 105 years of continuous production of sprinklers and valves. The Globe name has persisted in its enduring identity since the introduction of the first Globe Issue "A" Sprinkler in 1914.
Globe developed the earliest lever-fulcrum dry pipe valve, Globe Save All center strut sprinklers, and eventually became the first US company to utilize 5mm and 3mm Glass Bulbs in its commercial and residential sprinklers.
