Kärcher North America names new CEO

Elliot Younessian takes role after previously serving with company from 2009 to 2014.


Elliot Younessian was named the new Chief Executive Officer of Kärcher North America, Inc.

Elliot Younessian was named the new Chief Executive Officer of Kärcher North America, Inc. in Denver, Colorado, USA, on May 18, 2020. He succeeds Markus Asch, who had conducted the affairs of Kärcher North America on an interim basis since January 2020 in addition to his duties as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG in Germany.

North America is one of the most important and largest markets in the global group of companies of the world market leader for cleaning technology.

A familiar face at Kärcher: Elliot Younessian

Previous career stages
Elliot Younessian started his professional career at Samsonite before moving to Castle Rock Industries in the year 2000, which later became part of Kärcher North America. From 2009 to 2014, he had already been Chief Executive Officer of Kärcher North America. After his resignation from Kärcher, Elliot worked as a Lean Management Consultant, and the Senior Vice President at Brain Corporation in San Diego. He will continue to drive the positive development of Kärcher North America in the USA with his many years of experience and his knowledge of the American market.
