BuildFax Monthly Housing Health Report shows 2021 off to a strong start
Single-family permits grow nearly 10 percent YOY.

- Single-family housing authorizations increased 9.89% year over year in January.
- Maintenance volume and spend increased 8.37% and 17.87% year over year in January, respectively.
- Remodels – a subset of maintenance than includes renovations, additions, and alterations – experienced year-over-year increases across volume and spend at 10.04% and 12.37%, respectively.
