ASC launches new site to shop online for attachments

E-commerce site offers 24/7 attachment purchasing.

Attachment Supply Company (ASC) announces the launch of its new online shopping site, attachmentsupply.com, an innovative e-Commerce and online marketing site for buying and selling attachments online, on demand, 24/7. Open for business around-the-clock, ASC provides manufacturers a trustworthy, reputable digital platform to sell their products and buyers a dynamic, easy-to-use cyber store to make their purchases — at any time of the day, from anywhere.

“The idea for ASC was born out of the realization that “consumer behaviors have changed, even in the construction equipment industry,” says Company Co-Founder James Baird. Baird teamed up with business partner Greg Janke, and together, they developed ASC to help connect buyers and sellers online in a hassle-free, easy-to-do-business-with way.

“We intentionally built this site with the customers’ shopping experience in mind, including features and functionality that quickly and easily provide them with all of the necessary information and support they need to make informed attachment buying decisions,” Baird adds.

Specifically catering to the construction equipment attachments market, ACS offers all makes, models and sizes — from compact equipment, like skid steers and track loaders, all the way up through heavy construction machinery, including large wheel loaders and excavators. “New makes and models are added monthly,” says Baird, “so we encourage customers to check back frequently for attachments they are interested in purchasing.”

Attachments listed on the ASC site are logically organized by machine type or attachment type then by sub-classifications like style, size and specifications to help customers select the right one. Site features include an enhanced, elastic search capabilities, such as a predictive search bar found on every page, as well as the ability to search by machine model/type, attachment type and brand.

In addition to all of the options, research and specs for each type of attachment are located in one place — a true single source for attachment information, regardless of construction equipment brand. Simple, easy-to-navigate drop-down menus are available on every page to enable customers to quickly find and easily select exactly what they want to purchase, including both stock and built-to-order choices, no matter where they are on the site.

“ASC utilizes modern technology that helps our customers confidently pair the right attachments for their specific machines, as well as to match specific jobsite needs,” says Baird. “Customer orders will immediately be fulfilled and drop shipped directly from our manufacturing partners or from our own inventory in Akron (OH) in order to ensure timely delivery of our customers’ purchases.”

Other features ASC delivers to customers include:

  • A single, all-inclusive pricing model that includes product and shipping costs to make it easy for customers to see the total cost of the purchase before checkout.
  • Standing behind the site’s product offerings, all attachments come with a 100% price match guarantee, and if the attachment doesn’t work with their machine, customers can return their purchase at no cost.

One feature that is not ready at launch but will be available soon is the “My Fleet” feature. It allows users to build out a digital profile of the fleet they own, including the specific machines they are shopping for. And as they are browsing the site, the “My Fleet” feature will highlight attachments that particularly fit the customer’s equipment fleet.

“Buying from ASC is an on-demand experience for customers,” says Baird. “We are accountable to our customers if they need us, having a ‘live’ person available to respond to questions and inquiries in real-time. But if they don’t need any help to make a purchase, they can go do it 100% on their own.”

He adds, “We are committed to being a good partner to anyone that wants to do business with us.”

The ASC team has a number of additional enhancements planned for the site including adding additional products, site features and functionality, as well as purchasing solutions to support customers’ attachment purchasing decisions.

“There’s more to come,” finishes Baird, “we going to give customers so many reasons to keep doing business with us that they’ll soon wonder how they ever purchased attachments any other way.”
