Streamlight Announces Sales Division Promotions
Aaron Freund is named Director of Sales-Industrial/Fire; Donato Sasso is appointed Director-International Business Development.

Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting, today announced the promotions of two veteran sales executives, Aaron Freund to Director of Sales - Industrial/Fire Division and Donato Sasso to Director - International Business Development.
In his new role, Freund will develop the annual sales and operating plans for the Industrial/Fire division, and direct the activities of its sales and regional managers as well as manufacturer representative agencies and distributor networks.
He joined Streamlight in 2012 as Regional Sales Manager for the division, where he was responsible for driving sales and working with manufacturer representatives and distributors to increase market share in the company’s industrial and fire markets.
Prior to joining Streamlight, Freund served as Safety Specialist/Territory Sales Manager for Broner Glove and Safety, Auburn Hills, MI. He previously worked with The KO Group as a Manufacturer’s Representative/Territory Sales Manager, managing Michigan and Ohio territories for the safety and industrial markets. He holds a B.S. in Language, Literature and Writing from Eastern Michigan University.
As Director of Business Development for the International Division, Sasso will be responsible for developing and executing annual sales strategy, focusing on business growth and extending the reach of Streamlight’s products internationally. He will also work to develop key connections and build upon existing relationships with customers and distributors in all regions of the world.
Sasso joined Streamlight in 2015 as International Regional Manager – Latin America where he led efforts there in developing a distribution network, increasing sales and establishing relationships with key end-users in the region.
Prior to his role at Streamlight, he served as Territory Manager for Aero Hardware and Supply, where he supported industrial global sales by sourcing, developing, maintaining and servicing overseas markets. He previously worked for Caricement as a Commercial Director of Sales in the Caribbean region, and in sales management for several other companies with markets in the Caribbean and Central, South and North America.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Arts in Engineering Management from The Universidad Metropolitano in Caracas, Venezuela.
