Carlisle Architectural Metals Becomes National Manufacturing Member of the Metal Roofing Alliance

Carlisle Architectural Metals' brands include Petersen Aluminum and Drexel Metals.

The Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA), the leading nonprofit trade organization representing the residential metal roofing industry in the U.S. and Canada, today announced that Carlisle Architectural Metals (CAM), along with its divisions Drexel Metals and Petersen Aluminum, have expanded their commitment to the MRA as a national manufacturing member.

As MRA’s most influential members, national manufacturing members play a flagship role in helping support and grow the overall residential metal roofing market by advocating for quality standards, providing education and support, and promoting metal roofing as a more sustainable, better performing and longer-lasting solution for homeowners.

“Our manufacturer members represent the biggest and best companies in the industry. They are committed to not only their own success, but also to spearheading growth and innovation for the overall industry through their involvement,” said Renee Ramey, MRA executive director. “Their leadership is a big reason why the residential metal roofing market in the U.S. and Canada is continuing to make tremendous gains.”

A division of Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), Carlisle Architectural Metals (CAM) consists of two architectural metal roofing and wall brands, Petersen Aluminum and Drexel Metals, which serve various market channels with 15 current locations in the U.S. As a long-standing member of the MRA, Drexel Metals offers metal roofing systems and custom fabrication. Petersen Aluminum, a leader in architectural metals offering quality applications for commercial and residential design, also now will be represented as part of CAM’s membership with the MRA.

With the mission to increase awareness of the beauty, durability and money-saving advantages of quality metal roofing among homeowners, MRA offers a variety of membership levels including manufacturer (national and regional), supplier, ancillary / accessory, trade associations and media partnerships. In addition, MRA offers a robust membership for contractors and distributors in the metal roofing industry.
