Werk-Brau Partners with Valley Tool to Provide Mulchers, Mowers and Landscape Rakes

Partnership expands Werk-Brau dealers' product offerings.

Werk-Brau has partnered with Valley Tool Manufacturing to provide Werk-Brau branded BrushHound mulchers, brush shredders, and flail mowers, and RockHound landscape rakes through Werk-Brau’s nationwide dealer network.

This arrangement makes it easy for Werk-Brau dealers as they have additional products and capabilities to sell with a single point of contact. Several models of brush shredders and fixed tooling forestry mulchers as well as the Original Rockhound Landscape Rake will be supplied by Valley Tool and stocked by Werk-Brau.

Models are available for use with both excavators and skid steers/compact track loaders, the brush shredders and forestry mulchers are designed to be hydraulically powered by the carrier (with no external power source required).

With a tight labor market and increased emphasis on safety, brush shredders and mulchers have increased in popularity due to their substantial increase in efficiency and productivity.

The agreement brings together two well-known manufacturers with similar company values and cultures to provide dealers with more, robust products to offer their customers.

“We’re excited to partner with Valley Tool because they are so much like us in terms of their company values, quality, culture, and overall customer-focused business philosophy,” said Werk-Brau National Sales Manager Dale DeWeese. “Using brush clearing attachments are much more productive and far safer than having hand crews with chainsaws, especially on slopes. We’re offering our dealers proven products to meet the growing demand with the same value and quality that they’ve come to expect, and with a single point of contact – their Werk-Brau regional manager.”

Werk-Brau has invested in a compact excavator fitted with a model 40EXHD mulcher that they will bring to interested dealers to demonstrate the technologies.

In addition to the brush shredders and forestry mulchers, Werk-Brau will also stock the Werk-Brau branded Original RockHound Landscape Rake. Ideal for removing rocks and leveling ground prior to sodding or seeding, this has a working width of 72-inches and attaches easily to any skid steer or mini loader with an included quick hitch adaptor.

“Partnering with Werk-Brau allows us to expand our footprint with a company very similar to ours in terms of philosophy,” said Paul Swanson, VP of Valley Tool. “They are well known and respected for their professionalism and integrity. Together we can help our dealer network by offering quality tools and service that will help their customers succeed in the marketplace.”

About Valley Tool:

Valley Tool Manufacturing started as a tool sharpening business for local machine shops in the late 1960’s, and quickly evolved into a full-fledged fabrication shop. Leveraging that success, they purchased Vrisimo and its line of flail mowers and shredders which were sold primarily in the western US. While supporting these farmers and ranchers with ongoing product enhancements and improvements, the RockHound and BrushHound brands were formed.

Today they supply flail-type and fixed tool shredders and mulchers and RockHound Landscape Rakes across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
