Proactive testing is a critical part of minimizing the spread of COVID-19 corona virus at your business or area. For such operations, you need a quick, accurate and low-cost kit in order to test as many people as effectively possible.
Larson Electronics offers an FDA emergency use authorized test kit which can detect the corona virus as early as the 7th day of exposure. The XLE-MD-BK-CV19-R1-25PK kit is for medical professionals, allowed under emergency use authorization from the FDA. This COVID-19 IgG/IgM rapid test kit is suitable for businesses or organizations with medical personnel or medical staff to administer the tests.
There are 25 individually sealed test kits inside the package. Acceptable specimens for the test include: serum, plasma or whole blood. A waiting time of 10 minutes is required to see the results (positive, negative or invalid). The results appear as red lines on the test cassette.
The XLE-MD-BK-CV19-R1 EUA has not been FDA cleared or approved. It has been authorized by the FDA under an emergency use authorization for use by authorized laboratories and patient care settings. The test has been authorized only for the detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2, not for any other viruses or pathogens, and is only authorized for the duration of the declaration that circumstances exist justifying the authorization of emergency use of in vitro diagnostic tests for detection and/or diagnosis of COVID-19 under Section 564(b)(1) of the Act, 21 U.S.C. § 360bbb-3(b)(1), unless the authorization is terminated or revoked sooner.
