Stellar Industry Supply Acquires PPE Distributor USA Safety Supply Corp.
Stellar Industrial Supply is acquiring USA Safety Supply Corp., a 20-year-old family-owned, personal protection equipment (PPE) distributor based in Eagan, Minnesota.
USA Safety Supply offers products from over 250 manufacturers and is known for its low back-order rates.
“We continue to build out Steller's reach and capabilities, always with our customer’s needs in mind," said Stellar Industrial Supply president and CEO John Wiborg. "I’m happy that the USA Safety team is joining forces with Stellar. This new acquisition brings us a great team and furthers our geographic and product expansion.”
Continuing, Wilborg praised Rick and Laura Raether for building an excellent company that knows how to deliver value to customers.
“The culture they have created aligns with Stellar’s,” Wilborg said. “We are looking forward to working with them and their team to bring more value to our customers.”
The acquisition, expected to close on July 31, will expand Stellar’s national presence to more than 20 regional hubs and its safety product category offerings.
