This October marks the beginning of a 50th anniversary milestone celebration for Gemtex Abrasives, the original and only manufacturer of Trim-K discs.
The company will begin celebrating its 50th anniversary on October 1, 2024.
Founded In 1975, Gemtex Abrasives became the first low-cost resin fiber disc producer focusing on the environment.
The company’s process and the products are designed around reducing and recycling thereby providing many cost advantages. Gemtex was environmentally friendly or responsible before it was popular.
Gemtex produces and markets a full range of coated and bonded abrasives for grinding. sanding, surface conditioning, and finishing. Its products are sold worldwide to the industrial, automotive, aerospace, marine, metal fabrication, natural gas production, petrochemical, and retail markets under Gemtex and private label brands made at its manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters in Toronto, Canada.
