John Deere has introduced its 326 P-Tier telescopic compact wheel loader.

“Providing our customers with jobsite offerings that help boost operator confidence and machine capability are top priorities when introducing new, unique machines to our line-up of compact construction equipment,” said Emily Pagura, product marketing manager, John Deere. “The debut of the 326 P-Tier not only emphasizes that commitment but also helps our customers take their work to new heights.”

Similar in design to the 324 P-Tier wheel loader, the 326 P-Tier is equipped with purpose built telescoping linkage for extended reach capabilities. It offers more than 16 feet of reach from the telescopic lift arm, long enough to reach higher locations and maintaining that compact size to work in tight spaces.

Control of the telescoping arm is managed with the mini joystick found on the main control lever, meaning operators don't have to remove their hands from the main controls to activate the arm.

To prevent overloading, the machine is equipped with the Load Torque Indicator system, which gives operators visible and audible alarms relating to the stability and movement of the arm if it is overloaded or unstable.

If stability limits are exceeded movement of the lift arm is restricted to those that would improve stability of the load.

Cabs of the 326 P-Tier loaders were built with operator comfort and ease of use in mind.

Highlights include a 9-inch touchscreen display that keeps key information and warnings, status, and machine positioning within easy view.

Operators can also customize electro-hydraulic controls from the display with such offerings as Auto Return-to-Dig, Auto Lift Dig, and lower functions to reduce cycle times.

In terms of visibility, optional boom-mounted lights and standard overhead windows allow a clear view of the end of the telescoping arm, allowing operators to confidently work on most jobsites.

The 326 P-Tier telescopic compact wheel loader is capable of speeds up to 23 miles per hour to move between two points quicker.

To operate in tight quarters, John Deere offers the Articulation Plus steering system that offers a full 30 degrees of articulation plus 10 additional degrees of rear-wheel steering.

“This model is perfect for operators of all experience levels and is equipped with easily controllable telescopic arms and an intelligent overload warning system,” Pagura said. “With these features, the 326 P-Tier is a one-of-a-kind machine made for every jobsite needing extended reach.”
