fischer drew large crowds at its display at the BAU trade show.

“Our BAU trade fair appearance was a complete success,” said Michael Geiszbühl, managingdDirector of fischer Deutschland Vertriebs GmbH. “We are delighted with the large influx of visitors. The personal exchange on site with longstanding partners as well as new interested parties was very valuable and inspiring for us. We are taking a lot of impulses and ideas with us and are already looking forward to further activities in the industry year 2025, where the focus is always on joint success with our partners.

The programs on the show stage attracted a large audience. Presenters demonstrated the advantages of the fischer BauBot construction robot in live shows and expert talks. Visitors experienced the intelligent helper in action during autonomous drilling. BauBot shows alternated with craftsmen competitions in which two teams of two compete against each other for time to solve fastening tasks and win attractive prizes.

Visitors also were able to try out selected fischer products in various building materials. In addition to the latest plastic and steel fixing solutions and screws, the range also included tools for direct fixings.

Tools available for testing included the gas-actuated setting tool FGW 90F, the fischer FXC 85 (battery-actuated) and FGC 100 (gas-actuated) setting tools, which speed up and simplify fastening in concrete, steel and other anchoring surfaces.

fischer presented market launches for the renovation and maintenance of existing structures with a consistently positive response. Economic and easy-to-install products for structural reinforcement with carbon fiber-reinforced polymers laminates and carbon fiber fabrics were presented to the broad BAU trade audience for the first time.

Also included was a completely new range of mortars for concrete repair to reprofile damaged concrete coverings and components or to fill voids and holes in concrete components. Concrete topping solutions for increasing the load-bearing capacity of reinforced concrete ceilings and bridge structures as well as injection systems for creating subsequent reinforcement connections were part of the program. The fischer FCC-B bridge cap anchor for renovation projects in bridge construction was among the highlights of the discussion.

Through exhibits, fischer demonstrated its numerous fastening products and solutions for a variety of materials and situations, including concrete, lumber, roofing, fire protection, solar systems and more.

The company also talked extensively with visitors about its 360-degree services, which it uses to support customers with their projects from planning and execution to documentation and construction monitoring.
