Hideki Fujimoto will take over as president and CEO of Hitachi Global Air Power as of April 1, 2025.

Fujimoto, currently deputy group executive of the Global Air Power division, succeeds John Randall who has been promoted to president and CEO of Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co.

The program harnesses global expertise to drive efficient, customer-focused product innovation. Throughout his tenure at Hitachi, Fujimoto has assumed increasing responsibility, including serving as vice president engineering at Hitachi Global Air Power.

In the coming months, he will be relocating from Tokyo to Michigan City, Indiana.

“Hitachi Global Air Power has been undergoing a significant transformation, and I’m excited to return to the United States and build on the momentum John Randall and the team have created,” said Fujimoto. “The reliability and durability of our compressed air solutions have always been the foundation of our work, and we’ll continue to push innovation forward while staying focused on what matters most – our customers.”

“The past four years at Hitachi Global Air Power have been an incredibly rewarding experience,” said Randall. “I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a talented and dedicated team and together, we’ve made great strides in transforming the business. I look forward to supporting the company’s continued growth and seeing all the great things ahead.”
