FastenMaster Cortex Plugs Now Available for TimberTech Fascia boards

Cortex plugs for composite fascia are engineered specifically for fascia applications and are designed to accommodate fascia expansion and contraction over time. Professional contractors can now combine Cortex for Decking with Cortex for Fascia to complete entire decks with FastenMaster’s hidden fastening system.
Cortex Plugs are made from the same composite material as the fascia boards for a 100% perfect color and texture match and are warrantied for the life of the project. Cortex Plugs for TimberTech Fascia includes the following colors: Ashwood, Espresso, Mocha, Pecan, Tigerwood, Whitewash Cedar, Antique Leather, Dark Roast, Driftwood, Reclaimed Chestnut, Dark Oak, Natural White Oak, Weathered Oak, Sea Salt Gray, Dark Cocoa, Coconut Husk, Dark Teak and Maritime Gray.

Cortex Fascia Plugs are installed in three easy steps: predrill with the counterbore tool, drive the screw and tap in the Cortex Plug. The new Cortex Fascia Plugs are available in packages of 105 plugs, 100 screws, one setting tool and one Cortex counterbore tool, or enough to install 50 linear feet of fascia. Fascia fasteners are 1.75-inches long and feature a TORX ttap drive system for superior bit engagement and stable, wobble-free installation.
