White Cap Appoints New General Counsel

White Cap announced the appointment of Christine Reddy as its new general counsel.

In this role, Reddy will be responsible for the delivery of all legal services for the company and serve as corporate secretary and legal advisor to our board of directors. She will report directly to Alan Sollenberger, chief executive officer of White Cap.

"Christine has an accomplished career providing trusted partnership and insights that support and enable growing organizations," Sollenberger said. "Christine has spent her career building strong governance and compliance programs, supporting transparent and inclusive cultures, and serving with a business- and service-first mindset.”

He said White Cap is pleased to add her counsel and expertise to the company’s leadership team and look forward to her impact leading legal services.

Reddy most recently served as executive vice president (EVP) and general counsel for publicly traded Beacon Building Products for the past four years. While there, she executed upon their multi-year strategic vision, which included driving growth through acquisition, and aligning Beacon's legal services to business goals and objectives.

Prior to her role at Beacon, Reddy served for 15 years as vice president, deputy corporate secretary and deputy general counsel for the secondary mortgage market leader, Fannie Mae. Earlier in her career, she held ascending leadership positions at Public Broadcasting Service, reaching the role of corporate secretary and deputy general counsel.

Combined, Reddy brings more than 30 years of experience of governance and leading legal teams to White Cap.
