Southwire Multimeter wins NECA Award
MaintenancePRO Smart Multimeter wins NECA Showstopper Award.
For the fifth consecutive year, Southwire Company, LLC has delivered a product worthy of a National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Showstopper Award. Southwire’s new MaintenancePRO Smart Multimeter was awarded this distinction at the 2015 NECA Show in San Francisco.
“Southwire Tools & Equipment continues to invest in new products and technology to enhance safety and productivity on the jobsite – the most recent example is our MaintenancePRO Smart Multimeter. Not only that, Southwire Tools & Equipment launched 15 new products at this year’s NECA Show and also recently acquired Seatek - a made in U.S.A. manufacturer of hand tools,” said John Payne, Director of Test and Measurement.
Southwire’s new MaintenancePRO Smart Multimeter connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth to control and monitor your meter from a safe distance with Southwire’s MApp mobile app. Record, save and share measurements, and communicate critical equipment issues via email to get systems back online quickly.
The MaintenancePRO multimeter also features on-board memory so the meter can record and save data even when it’s not connected to MApp. A dynamic color-screen display features a graphing function to show trends and peaks on recordings. An intuitive on-screen menu makes it easy to set up new or view saved recordings, or change meter settings.
The NECA Showstopper Showcase and Awards is the most prestigious recognition event in the electrical construction industry. The awards are decided by a panel of electrical contractors and magazine contributors.
