Using new Speedlock double snap connectors from Appleton, a business unit of Emerson Industrial Automation, electricians can connect armored cable, metal clad cable or flexible metallic conduit to steel boxes and enclosures twice as fast and at less cost than traditional connectors.
There simply isn't a speedier way to connect. Speedlock connectors require no tools or a locknut, leading to overall job cost savings without compromising quality.
"Besides being faster to install, Speedlock connectors feature a unique design that eliminates loose component parts for total reliability," said Rick Jones, Marketing Manager, Appleton Group. "The connectors are sure to be very popular with today's contractors and OEMs looking to save time and money."
Available in several configurations including Straight, Straight for Old Work, Duplex for installing two cables in a single KO, and 90 Degree, the patented Speedlock connector installs in seconds.
Electricians simply snap the connector onto the cable, and then snap it into the knock-out. The zinc connectors are reusable and designed to terminate 3/8" or 1/2" flexible conduit in 1/2" steel box KO's or enclosures in dry locations.
Adding to the connectors' value are red insulated throats that create a smooth pulling surface to protect the wire insulation from damage.
Appleton Speedlock double snap connectors are cULus listed for use in NEC and CEC governed locations.
